Die rein ägyptischen Vollblutaraber vom Gestüt Rothenberg sind weltweit ein Begriff für Typ und Qualität.

Hier waren die berühmten Hengste Classic Shadwan (Multichampion, †2009) und die „schwarze Perle“ Madallan-Madheen (gold-prämiert, †2004)
zu Lebzeiten zuhause - und beide nehmen auch nach ihrem Tod durch ihre Nachkommen, sowie Gefriersamen noch allergrößten Einfluß auf die Zucht!

Derzeit besteht die bewährte Hengstriege im Gestüt Rothenberg aus Classic Shadwans schwarzem Sohn Maheeb sowie die im Gestüt gezogenen Hengste
GR Amaretto (von Classic Shadwan),
die Rappen GR Faleeh und GR Madhin (beide von Madallan-Madheen) sowie in der nächsten Generation die Hengste GR Lahab (aus der Classic Shadwan-Tochter GR Nashidah) und der reinerbige Rappe
GR Moneef (von GR Faleeh).

Die älteren Hengste sind teils selbst höchst erfolgreich auf Schauen aber haben sich vor allem als sichere Vererber bewiesen. Ihre Nachkommen wurden in viele verschiedene Länder auf der ganzen Welt exportiert und konnten zum Teil große Schaulorbeeren erringen. Und auch von den beiden Nachwuchshengsten lassen die ersten Fohlen großes hoffen – die Zukunft wird es zeigen!

Das Gestüt liegt in Bayern zwischen Augsburg und Nürnberg, ca. eine Stunde von München entfernt.

Die gepflegte Gestütsanlage mit Halle, geräumigen Boxen und 10 Hektar bestem Weideland bietet optimale Bedingungen für die Pferdebetreuung und Aufzucht der Fohlen.

were at home in Rothenberg during their live – and still have big influence to the breeding through their offspring and their frozen semen.

At the moment the stallions of Rothenberg consist of Classic Shadwan’s black son Maheeb as well as the homebred stallions GR Amaretto (by Classic Shadwan), the black stallions GR Faleeh & GR Madhin (both by our black foundation-stallion Madallan-Madheen) as well as the young stallions of the next generation GR Lahab (out of the Classic Shadwan-daughter GR Nashidah) and the homozygous black GR Moneef (by GR Faleeh).

This stallions have the pedigree, the conformation and the attitude to be both - sires and show horses. And the older ones already have proven themselves as great producer of outstanding foals which are in the winner’s circle as well and have been exported to many countries and continents. Exotic Arabians bred by Rothenberg Stud are meanwhile at home all around the world – in many countries of Europe as well as in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Egypt, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Marocco, Namibia, New-Zealand, Saudi-Arabia, South-Africa, UAE and USA!

Our goal is to breed outstanding typey Egyptians with all overal great quality, movements and character - just the "perfect" Arabian which is a family horse but also can compete successfully in the showring.
And we love the black color.

The studfarm is situated in Bavaria/Germany,
only about one hour from Munich airport.

The Arabians of Rothenberg Stud live in modern stables with plenty of light and air and wonderful big pastures;
the stud includes about 25 acres
of land and an indoor arena.
